Mid Mod Barrington Tour
Welcome to Barrington’s inaugural Mid-Century Modern architecture tour! There is a rich history of Mid-Century Modern homes in the Barrington Area; many important MCM architects not only designed homes in Barrington, but also made our community their homes.
Architects featured on today’s tour include Ed Dart, Harry Weese, Keck & Keck, Don Tosi, Milton Schwartz, and Dennis Blair. Check-in for today’s tour begins at 10:00 AM at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
We recommend you enjoy your self-guided tour by following the three suggested routes below. The tour ends at 4 PM. For closing reception ticket holders only (5-7 PM), please park in the Countryside Elementary School parking lot (205 W County Line Rd, Barrington), where you’ll be shuttled to our special closing reception at the Henrich House.
